Magnetic Separator is a magnetic separation device used in mineral processing operations to recover magnetite and separate magnetic and weakly magnetic ores. The magnetic separator produced by Shiqi mainly consists of a cylinder, permanent magnet assembly, and door.
Product Structure
1. Cylinder: The cylinder primarily serves as a support structure and forms the material flow channel. It is mainly welded from stainless steel plates, with raw material inlet and outlet ports at its top and bottom.
2. Permanent Magnet Assembly: The permanent magnet assembly comprises an outer cylinder, magnetic blocks, and magnetic pole plates. The outer cylinder is made of stainless steel, and the magnetic blocks are made of high-performance composite permanent magnetic material.
3. Door: The door is used to secure the permanent magnet assembly. Periodically opening the door allows for the removal of metallic impurities adsorbed onto the surface of the magnetic plates.
Working Principle
Granular (powdered) raw materials and the magnetic metallic impurities mixed within them enter through the inlet and form an annular material layer around the permanent magnet assembly. The magnetic metallic impurities are magnetized by the magnetic field and are adsorbed onto the surface of the magnetic poles. The granular raw materials, however, pass through the magnetic field zone and exit the machine via the lower outlet, thus achieving separation.
Features and Advantages
1. High Iron Removal Efficiency: The electromagnetic iron remover effectively clears ferromagnetic impurities from materials, improving product quality.
2. Strong Adaptability: Suitable models and structures can be selected based on material characteristics and application scenarios.
3. Easy Operation: Most electromagnetic iron removers feature automatic control and protection functions, making them simple to operate, safe, and reliable.
4. Convenient Maintenance: Simple structure ensures easy maintenance and upkeep.
Application Scenarios
Electromagnetic iron removers are widely used in industries such as mining, metallurgy, coal, power generation, chemicals, and building materials to remove ferromagnetic impurities from materials, protecting downstream equipment and ensuring the smooth operation of processes.
