Pipe chain conveyor, as a type of conveying equipment, plays an important role in many industries. In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the pipe chain conveyor, the manufacturer hereby reminds you to pay attention to the following matters when operating the pipe chain conveyor.
1、 Installation and debugging phase
After the installation of the chain conveyor is completed, strict debugging work must be carried out. First, check if the connections of each component are secure and if the tension of the chain is appropriate. Loose chains can lead to a decrease in conveying efficiency and even the occurrence of chain detachment; If the chain is too tight, it will increase the load on the motor and shorten the service life of the equipment.
Secondly, check if the operation of the driving device is normal. The motor should have no abnormal noise and vibration, and the oil temperature of the reducer should be within the normal range. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure good lubrication of each transmission part and add an appropriate amount of lubricating oil according to the requirements of the equipment manual.
Then conduct a no-load trial run. The no-load operation time is generally not less than 2 hours. During this period, observe the operation of the equipment, check for abnormal noise, jamming, and whether the running trajectory of the chain is normal. If there are any problems, the machine should be stopped in a timely manner for inspection and troubleshooting.
2、 Preparation before operation
1. Operators should be familiar with the structure, performance, and operation methods of the pipe chain conveyor, and can only operate it after professional training.
2. Check if there are any obstacles around the equipment to ensure that the operating space of the equipment is unobstructed.
3. Check whether the properties of the conveyed material meet the requirements of the pipe chain conveyor, such as particle size, humidity, viscosity, etc. For materials that are prone to adhesion and blockage, corresponding preventive measures should be taken.
4. Check whether the electrical system of the equipment is normal, including whether the connections of motors, control boxes, sensors and other equipment are firm, and whether there is any damage to the electrical circuits.
3、 Precautions during operation
When starting the equipment, it should be started with no load first, and materials should be gradually added after the equipment runs smoothly. It is strictly prohibited to start the equipment under full load to avoid damage to the motor and transmission device.
2. Control the conveying volume of materials. Avoid overloading the equipment due to excessive conveying volume, which may affect the service life of the equipment. At the same time, attention should be paid to observing the flow of materials during the conveying process to prevent material blockage.
3. Regularly check the wear of the chain. If severe chain wear is found, the chain should be replaced in a timely manner to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. At the same time, pay attention to checking whether the joints of the chain are loose, and tighten them in a timely manner if there is any looseness.
4. Pay attention to the operating temperature of the equipment. If the operating temperature of the equipment is too high, it should be stopped and checked in a timely manner to identify the cause and eliminate the fault. Possible reasons include motor overload, poor lubrication, material blockage, etc.
5. Keep the equipment clean. Regularly clean the dust and debris on the surface of the equipment to prevent them from entering the interior and affecting the normal operation of the equipment. At the same time, attention should be paid to cleaning the residual materials in the conveying pipeline to avoid material accumulation and blockage.
6. Pay close attention to the operating status of the equipment. If any abnormal noise, vibration, jamming or other phenomena are found, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection and troubleshooting before continuing to operate.
During the operation of the equipment, it is strictly prohibited to carry out maintenance and upkeep work on the equipment. If maintenance and repair are required, the machine must be shut down and the power must be cut off to ensure personnel safety.
4、 Handling after shutdown
1. When stopping the machine, the material conveying should be stopped first, and after all the materials have been conveyed, the machine should run empty for a period of time to clean up the residual materials in the conveying pipeline.
2. Turn off the device power and conduct a comprehensive inspection and maintenance of the device. Check the wear and tear of each component, whether the connection is loose, whether the lubrication is good, etc., and carry out timely maintenance and upkeep.
3. Clean and disinfect the equipment, especially for chain conveyors used in industries such as food and medicine, to ensure the hygiene and safety of the equipment.
In short, when operating a chain conveyor, it is necessary to strictly follow the operating procedures, pay attention to safety, strengthen equipment maintenance and upkeep, and ensure the normal operation of the equipment. Only in this way can the advantages of the pipe chain conveyor be fully utilized, production efficiency be improved, and greater economic benefits be created for the enterprise.
